I hope everyone is toasty warm inside, maybe stamping away.  That’s my wish for you anyway, lol.

It is so stinking cold here.  I really don’t like when the temps dip below zero.  It makes me want to crawl under a pile of blankets and read for days as the world goes on without me.  But of course I resist the urge because there is stamping to do!

On another note . . . . . . . . . . . .

DSC_0002Frequently you will find one of my tables here covered in what looks like stacks of towels, but under those towels are mold after mold of my specialty soaps that I handcrafted.  🙂  After the pouring process the soap molds need to be kept warm so the soap will do it’s magic in the molds.  Sometimes I wonder why my Husband Russ puts up with my projects all over the house, lol.

I’m always making new soap creations and have updated my soap page with some new offerings just in time to keep your skin soft for the Winter months.  CLICK HERE to check it out.

Autumn Birch Trees

Hello There,

Here in Ohio I believe our peek time for Fall color is right now.  Our trees are just on fire with color and we have a great many leaves on the ground to add to the beauty of the season.  🙂  My favorite trees this time of year are the birch trees.  I just love their white contrast to bright Fall leaves.  So that is where I got the inspiration for this card today.

This card would be a great way to tell that special person just how very grateful you are for them.

I sure am getting the most out of my White Christmas stamp set.  🙂  Love this set.  I believe it is my top pick out of the Holiday Catalog.

Wet Leaf – Stampin’ Up! Card

Today’s card was inspired by my walk out to the chicken coop this morning.  It has been raining for days so a lot of the newly fallen leaves from out trees  are wet and they are now stuck to our wood deck.

I tried to recreate that look.  I hope you like it and that it inspires you to get inky today.

On another note. . . . .  .

Our grand daughter, Hailie Jade is staying with us this week.  I like to do as much with her as I can during her visits.  My bright idea was to carve a pumpkin with her.  She was excited right up to the part of the project where she had to clean out the stuff from the inside of the pumpkin.

I’ve never seen a child gag while doing this, but gag she did and all while laughing.  Believe me, Russ and I were cracking up as well.

As you see she survived the terror of pumpkin carving and ended up with this cute cat pumpkin.  🙂
