Hello there,

Today I wanted to create a card that had the beautiful snowflake from the Holly Jolly Greetings Stamp Set, item #139882 right up front in my scene.  Added some trees and wind in the background and I created depth in the scene that really made those snowflakes come to life.  🙂

Oh boy!  I think I really love the color combo of Tip Top Taupe, Soft Sky and Early Espresso.  I hope you like it too.  It would be a perfect card for the nature lover or bird watcher.  🙂

All Occasion Reflection – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello there,

I cannot believe it is the last day of September and this is my last project for this month.  Where oh where does the time go?

Today’s card is, what I consider, an every occasions card.  I purposely leave the sentiment off of such a card to keep for when I’m in a real hurry for a card.  Now all I have to do is stamp a sentiment inside and it’s good to go.  🙂  This color combo and keeping the embellishments to a minimum helps to make it perfect for either a man or woman.

Hello Autumn 2015 – Stampin’ Up! Card

I have a bit more of a sneak peekage for you today. I’m using the Cheer All Year Stampin’ Up! stamp set and Spider Web Doilies that will be available on September 1st in the new Holiday Catalog.  I teamed those items up with the  ever popular White Christmas stamp set that is available now in the Annual Catalog, item #135767.

I created a bit of a window frame for my scene.  This is a wonderful way to showcase your artwork on a card front.   Also a great place to add a spider web.  🙂

My inspiration came from this photo I took while on my walk the other morning.  Seriously, we have spiderwebs every where this time of year.  I tend to walk into them a lot in my yard while gardening.  I’m pretty sure the neighbors think I have taken up karate, if you know what I mean, lol.

I was super busy baking Banana Bread yesterday.  Russ took over 30 loaves to work with him today to spread some Christmas Cheer to the staff at the Dayton Art Institute.   It has become a Christmas tradition.

Sometimes I think I’ve gone off the deep end, but it makes all that baking worth while to see my husband so happy loading up his truck this morning.  🙂

White Christmas Multi-Gift Card Holder

Hello there,

Well my Christmas cards are made and in the mail, whew!  That’s one task done and on time at that, grin.  It is time to get a few more things created that I need before Christmas, such as multi-gift card holders for my children.

My sons are in their 30’s now and they are extremely hard to shop for so I give them a gift that they can use throughout the year.  I purchase gift cards for restaurants and the movie theater and create these special books to put them in.   I do spend quite a bit on gift cards but they get used where as if I purchased them something else I really run the risk of them sticking whatever it is in a closet and never using it.  So gift cards it is and it has become a tradition that they look forward to.  Today’s project is this year’s multi-gift card holder design.

This holder can be designed to hold as many or as few gift cards as you would like.  🙂

Don’t need a gift card holder, well, the main image panel on this project can be easily turned into a Christmas card.
