Hello there,

It’s been a while since I stamped a collage style card. They are super fun because I can get messy and pull together stamp sets that I normally wouldn’t. I’m always surprised with how things turn out. Believe me it is never ends up how I had envisioned when starting, but I’m always pleased with the results.

No Bones About It – Stampin’ Up! Card

My Grand Daughter, Hailie Jade is here with me today and we are going to see Jurassic World in 3D this afternoon. So, it is only fitting that I create a Dinosaur card because that is where my mind is.

I see myself working a lot with the new Stampin’ Up! set No Bones About It, item #138756. This stamp set is loaded with fun images. When I think Dinosaurs I think about young men, don’t you? So this would be a great set for you and me to knock out those cards for the boys on our lists.

Hello there,

I’ve got an everyday masculine card for you today. Those manly cards are hard to come up with. It’s nice when you design one that you can use for many occasions. I know this says “So Sorry”, but you could also stamp in it’s place Happy Birthday, Thinking of You, Thank you etc., etc.

Also, the ink looks wet on this card with a little help of Stampin’ Up! Crystal Effects. 🙂

Miss You Travel Card – Stampin’ Up! Project

Hello There,

It’s a bit rainy outside so I decided to hold up in my stamping room to create this little masculine number. I, like most, struggle with masculine cards, but I think I pulled it off this morning. What do you think?

Chick Update

It’s been pretty laid back around here of late. The chicks are getting big. I can’t believe they are 6 weeks old today. I was hoping they would be big enough now for them to move to the big coop with the big girls, but they still look so very small in comparison with my full grown hens, so we will wait a couple of weeks.

The chicks now have a play area fenced off in the chicken run where they can be their little chicken selves in the fresh air without the big girls getting to them. This also give the big girls a chance to get use to the idea of the little ones moving in. So during the day that has been the chicken arrangement. At night the chicks get moved to the garage where they sleep in Luke’s old dog crate. I’ll be glad when everyone is all together so I don’t have to clean an additional coop and move chicks twice a day. 🙂 Every time I move them I whisper to them that they better be good layers, lol.

I still haven’t named any of them so I’m taking suggestions. 🙂
