Autumn Gate Fold

Hello Stampers,

I’m playing around with a gate fold card design today.  This is a fun way to show off a good sized main image panel.

I love how the card fastens shut just by slipping the main image panel under the side of the Everyday Label Punch.

Also, I did a little quick alteration on an A2 envelope for this card to fit into, so fun!  I know you can make your own envelope using the envelope punch board but this is so super fast to do.  I’m including the directions on how the envelope was customized in today’s tutorial.

The great Old Olive checked Designer Series Paper comes in the Under the Mistletoe Pack.  This is super for Autumn as well!

Mixed Trees – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello Stampers,

I love, love, love the new Stampin’ Up! Blueberry Bushel ink.  It’s that bright and cool blue which is terrific for night skies when paired up with Night of Navy and Balmy Blue as seen in today’s project.

I used a couple of stamp sets to mix up the trees in my scene to give it a more realistic look with depth.  I hope it inspires you to get inky today!

Hello there,

I LOVE TREES!!!!  Yes, I’m a tree hugger. 🙂  I love nature and growing things, so quite a few of my stamped creations have trees, flowers etc. in them.  What are you drawn to in your creations?

I also love the fact nature scenes can be used for so many different occasions.

Today’s scene looks a bit like watercolor since I used the Stampin’ Up Sheltering Tree stamp set and soft hues but there is no watercoloring in this project.  I used simple stamping techniques, so fun!
