Hello there,

I hope this blog post finds you happily enjoying the weekend.  It is raining cats and dogs outside here so I am held up in my craft space enjoying some stamping time.  It’s rough being me, NOT!

Today’s card features the Swirly Bird stamp set and Swirly Scribbles Thinlits Dies.  I love that wave looking diecut and that little boat, too cute!

I opted to use the direct to paper technique for this project which gives you a bit of a painting look.  Also, I choose to use some great beachy shades of card stock to pull it all together.  🙂  I hope this inspires you to get some stamping therapy in, it’s awesome!

Chocolate Cupcake – Stampin’ Up!

Hello there,

A chocolate cupcake, what’s not to love!  Especially when it is created with a three step stamp set, Sweet Cupcake Item 141498 and makes this cupcake so easy to shade that gives this image such a realistic look.   Of course, you can make this cupcake any color (flavor) you want, yummy right?

After making this card I do believe I need to do some baking today. . . . . . .are you with me?

Hello there,

I had to take a break from making Christmas Cards today, only because I just wasn’t feeling it, lol.  I’m sure you know what I mean.  When I’m not feeling it I just cannot turn on the creativity no matter how hard I try.  So, instead of struggling I switched to a different type of card.  Well we need birthday cards this time of year too, right?

Let me show you how to make this waterfall today.  It’s all about what not to ink in this project.
