Hello Stampers,

I am hold up in my craft room this morning enjoying some quiet time after all of the festivities of the Christmas holiday.  It’s a good time to create my New Year’s cards and thank you cards for gifts received etc.

I decided to let the bear from the Stampin’ Up! Warm & Toasty stamp set push out 2020 and bring in the new year.  Yep!  It is definitely time for 2020 to be out of here!  I’m sure 2021 will be a delight and we will be so appreciative of the simple things in life, such as hugging friends and loved ones without fear.  I’m sure the people on your card list will totally enjoy receiving a new year’s card filled with your wishes for them to have the best year ever.

I think this super cute Polar Bear from the Stampin’ Up! set Warm & Toasty deserves a bit of a fancy fold layout today.  He is darling, right?  I put him on a cute buckle card layout.  This layout is a good one to have in your arsenal.  🙂

Dancing Polar Bear – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello Stampers,

A couple of ladies on my Stampin’ Up! Team used the ice skating bear from the Warm & Toasty Stamp Set without the skates in one of our team card challenges.  He stands more upright without the skates and to me he looks like he is dancing.  This is another great way to use this stamp and I could not wait to add him to one of my cards this way myself.  I love his happy expression!

Cool Yule Skater – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello Stampers,

When I opened the new August-December (holiday) Catalog, one of the very first items I put on my list was the Warm & Toasty Stamp Set.  How can you not smile looking at these images?

This is my first project with this stamp set and I know there will be many more before the year is out.
Tip:  If you wish to make multiples of a multi-step project, cut your main panels and do the first step on each panel, then the second on each panel and so forth.  This streamlines the process and before you know you have a stack of out of this world cards to pop in the mail.  Creating the cards one by one will take you much longer.
