Hello there,

I have a dramatic sponged night sky for you today.  I kept this masculine card free of frills.   No bows for my guys.  I also colored in the elk image to create a silhouette, easy peasy.

Pears – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello there,

Let’s take a solid pear shaped stamp and make some realistic looking pears out of it.  I teamed up the Stampin’ Up! Apple of My Eye stamp set with the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set to create this effect with some layered color.

I created my pears with spots because I grow pears here and know they come with speckles all over them.  I hope this project inspires you to get inky today.

Marlin – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello there,

Well this is a bit of a masculine card.  I had some fun with this scene by adding a water spray coming off of the marlin.  Also gave my main image panel the royal treatment by used Elegant Eggplant and Smoky Slate background panels and a lovely silver silk ribbon bow.

There are some really great masculine images in the From Land to Sea Stamp Set.

I live in Ohio where it is extremely flat farm land and every time I FaceTime with my sister, Sonja in Colorado I get the urge to do a mountain/rock formation card.  Well guess who I spoke to this morning, lol.    I decided to put a flower meadow in front of the mountains in today’s card.  I hope this inspires you to get inky today.  This is a fun layered scene that gives you a lot of depth..

Hello there,

First, I’m so happy to be in my studio creating away this morning.  I have a sick husband at home with the flu, ugh.  I’m hiding away trying not to get that bug.  I’ve sprayed a massive about of Lysol on everything and if he would let me I would spray some on Russ too.  Don’t get me wrong, I do feel very sorry for him, but no get well hugs from me until that bug is out of this house.

I created a calming card today.  This would be a terrific card to send anyone that needs a little bit of peace and tranquility in their life.  I think I’ll pop this in the mail to myself, just kidding.

Homestead at Night – Stampin’ Up! Card

Hello there,

You know, I was born and raised in the city but, after we raised our sons, Russ and I moved to a little rural community, so rural that our town only has one stop light and it is smack dab in the center of our two block town.  I’m assuming the stop light was put there so people driving through will stop at the light and realize there is a town there.   Needless to say, it took a bit of getting use to.  The thing that was really different for us is there are no lights at night here in the country.  We were so use to street lights and building lights, etc. but, here nothing, total darkness, only the light from the moon and the  stars shining at night.

Today’s card is all about that feeling you get in wide open spaces at night.  I hope you give this one a try.  You will be surprised at just how simply this project comes together.

Thanks Starfish – Stampin’ Up! Card

It’s a little strange the way my mind works, We are suppose to get our first snow fall this morning here in my area of Ohio and what am I stamping?  That’s right, a beach scene, lol.  Well, I know it is warm even hot in a lot of locations throughout the world, I guess I’m wishing I was there with my toes in the sand.  If you are in a cold region like me, we can at least think and stamp warm thoughts.

Today’s main image comes from another rocking nature stamp set, Picture Perfect, item 140520.  This realistic stamp set has two and even three step stamp images for super easy coloring of those images.

I put a “thanks” sentiment on this card but it would also be wonderful as a Birthday or thinking of you.  🙂
