Hello Stampers,

I hope this post finds you snug and safe in your crafting space.  I’ve been living in mine and keeping as germ free as possible.

I came up with a great color combo and technique for you today.  Teamed up Soft Suede, Pool Party and Crumb Cake for the color combo and then added some great copper elements to make this project shine.

The technique used is emboss resist, resist.  This is such a fun way to layer images.  I was pleasantly surprised by the painted look the daisies took on, woohoo!  Bonus!  The background took on a nice faux suede look, too.  🙂

In today’s project I created a bit of movement in my hummingbird from the Stampin’ Up! set “You Move Me.”  I find it’s the subtle things like that make your card for someone extra special, don’t you?

Autumn Note

Today’s card was created with the Emboss Resist Resist Technique.  This allows you to stack embossed images with the light colored images in front of darker ones.  It’s a great technique to have in your stamping arsenal.  🙂
