I seen a tree yesterday that has almost completely changed its colors from green to orange and red. I found myself saying out loud in the car to no one, since I was alone, I’m not ready for this! I love Autumn and want the season to take its time in its color progression, drag it out for a change. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
Anyway, I created this Autumn card using a fun new and simple technique for my background panel using ink and Stampin’ Mist Stamp Cleaner. I’ve seen all kinds of beautiful designer paper which look similar, so I wanted to make my own with this easy technique and it worked so well. It’s all in my tutorial.
I snagged a great color combo off of Pinterest. Just do a search for Color Palette Autumn and you will see some super combos to use. Pull out your ink colors which are closest to a match to your sample palette and you have a great start to a wonderful card.
