I’m often asked how I come up with my card ideas, well I start with an idea and then think about the stamp sets I have to pull the idea together.  What I will put in the back ground, middle ground and fore ground.

I combined a couple of stamp sets to create today’s project.  I knew I wanted to create a wreath (middle ground) so I pulled out the Stampin’ Up! First Frost stamp set which has a great twig stamp perfect to pull off the wreath look with.  Added some images from the new Free as a Bird stamp set for decoration (fore ground) and the Crackle Paint background stamp for the panel the wreath is on.

Breaking my scenes down to Background, middle ground and fore ground helps my mind from getting overwhelmed.  I pick out the stamped images for those areas one at a time.
